The all-new 2008 Works Showa suspension by Pro Circuit is designed for the rider who demands the most in both performance and appearance of their
The forks feature 49mm tubes, which are larger than any current production motorcycle. The fork tubes utilize a titanium nitrate coating that is more durable and gives you a much smoother stroke. The optional turquoise nitrate coating, used by Team Pro Circuit, offers an even smoother stroke and enhanced performance. Our unique internal cartridge system incorporates a new, larger, Kashima-coated aluminum cartridge rod that is sealed and pressurized like a shock to provide a more effective feel and supple action. Axle lugs are CNC-machined for increased durability and performance. The Works shock features race-inspired details to provide a distinct advantage over all stock shocks. The giant 18mm shock shaft uses a check valve system which isolates the compression and rebound stroke giving the rider a more stable and controlled ride. The larger shaft also displaces more oil and compliments the large 28mm piston compression adjuster. The 50mm hard anodized body also has a dark integrated Kashima coating to provide a more effective stroke and reduce heat build-up. For maximum performance the compression adjuster has high- and low-speed adjustability and uses a low-speed valve for optimum shock action.
